Eventually, she needed a more permanent placement, said Danny Sanford, her son. “Mama still needed some additional therapy. We’d heard some good things about Arrington Living Center and knew some people who were here. “So, we decided after talking to some of the staff here that this would be a good choice.” At age 90, Rachel Sanford, one of five children and the mother of two, has found yet another close-knit, welcoming set of (almost) kinfolk: the fellow residents and the staff at Arrington Living Center, the skilled nursing facility at Covington County Hospital.
