CovingtonCares 7 Kaci Trigg Lead Radiologic Technologist “The patient interaction is my favorite part of the day. I like the fact I get to greet them by their name and introduce myself. A visit can be less stressful when you take the time to interact with the patient – it seems to make them more at ease. “It’s personal to us. We care if you come to CCH. You’re not just a number. We treat you like you would want to be treated.” Billie Ward Nursing Administrator “I’ve loved this hospital since the day I walked in. It’s been like coming home every day. I appreciate everyone that I work with. They’re all great, great people. “I would like people to know what a great place this is for their family members to come and be taken care of. We have some of the greatest staff anywhere in the area. We love and take care of their patients.” Robyn McDonald Nursing Supervisor “I love giving back to the community that I’ve grown up in. I especially like working with behavioral health patients because there’s such a tremendous need. “We get patients from families that are looking for help because they don’t know what to do; they’ve seemingly tried everything. We spend time with the families and have a treatment team to help them understand what’s happening. “Covington County Hospital’s dedication to behavioral health makes this a special place. We have a staff that truly cares for our patients and their families.” Susan Duty Medical Technologist (Lab) “I do all of the lab work. For any specimen that’s taken from the body, I run an analysis. The instrumentation now has improved so much. You take just a minute amount of specimen, and you don’t have to draw as much blood. It’s much better for the patient. “I know a lot of my patients. I think they enjoy seeing a familiar face. Gives them a little comfort; puts them at ease.” Tina Miller Administrative Clerk, Covington Place Therapy & Counseling “This is my hometown, and these are my people. Hopefully having a familiar face will help them feel a little more at ease. “We are here to help. You’re not alone. Come on in; we’re here and will walk this journey with you.”
