CCH Clinic Green Tree
Weaton Middleton, FNP, brings over 26 years of experience in the medical field to Covington County Hospital, working in critical care and trauma for much of her career. She practices as a Family Nurse Practitioner at CCH Clinic Green Tree in Mt. Olive.
She earned an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Mississippi, in 1998. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2013 from the University of South Alabama and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN-FNP) in 2021 from The University of Southern Adventist in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She is accredited by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
As a nurse practitioner, Ms. Middleton’s focus is on preventive care. Patients who are having issues with hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia are heading for more severe health problems. The need for counseling on healthier eating habits, regular exercise, and proper BMI is essential to maintaining a healthy outcome.
A Seminary native, she enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren, a boy and a girl, and reading, crocheting, hiking, fishing, and traveling.
“My mission is to be here for the community that I grew up with and serve them by providing excellent healthcare. I was inspired in my early career as a medical assistant for Dr. Joe Johnston and Dr. Word Johnston in 1985 as they encouraged me to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse. I owe this community my services until I retire.” – Weaton Middleton, FNP.
