Admissions Clerk - Clinic System - Full Time

Immediate opening within the Covington County Hospital Clinic System for Full Time Admissions Clerk.  The Clinic Admissions Clerk is responsible for answering the phones, making appointments, initial intake of patient information, verification of insurance, and collection of appropriate fee for services received.  Must have excellent communication skills.  Basic computer skills required.  Experience preferred.

Clinical Therapist - Brightside - LMSW

The Program Therapist is a qualified mental health professional who provides quality patient care, is skilled in group therapy, individual therapy and family therapy techniques.  The therapist is responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation and case management functions which includes, but not limited to, treatment planning, discharge planning, and assisting patients with community resources.  The therapist is a member of a multi-disciplinary team and is expected to work with other team members to assist patients in achieving maximum benefit of treatment.

LMSW required,  experience preferred.

Emergency Room Admissions Clerk - Full Time

The Emergency Room Admission clerk is responsible for receiving patients in the emergency department.  The clerk will be responsible for registering different types of patients such as ER,  Inpatient, Swingbed and Outpatient when the outpatient registration department is closed.

Qualifications/requirements:

• Adequate knowledge and experience in dealing with insurance

• Must  possess typing ability, good writing, oral communication skills

• Working knowledge of computer applications and office equipment

• Must be willing to learn other duties as required
