Brightside Intensive Outpatient Program
Specialty Clinics
Sometimes we cannot see the pain and stress others feel, but we can see the signs. More than half of all Americans will experience mental health issues in their lifetime, and most often, these issues arise within our elderly loved ones. Look for the signs, and when behavioral health troubles hit close to home, seek compassionate and professional help that is also close to home.
Brightside Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) of Covington County Hospital is an intensive outpatient program that serves a population of geriatric psychiatric patients 55 years and older and assists families caring for them. The primary goal is for the patient to successfully meet goals established by a multidisciplinary team (including the patient) without experiencing serious adverse effects of medications and remaining stable in an outpatient setting.
Medication management and multidisciplinary diagnostic assessments are provided by a board-certified psychiatrist and Medical Director, Dr. Kristen Bevill, and an experienced team.
