Therapy helps improve a person’s ability to get back to daily life by relearning skills or movement patterns and promoting lifestyle changes that reduce pain or other issues. Therapy encourages learning new skills to adapt to a changed body or situation, as determined by medical status or diagnosis. Outpatient services from Covington County Hospital Therapy are offered to patients of all ages. Available therapies include Physical, Occupational, and Speech with physician referral. Patients who need outpatient therapy can request that their family doctor, specialist, or pediatrician send the order to Covington County Hospital in order to avoid long drives and wait times in larger metropolitan areas.
