Johnny McDonald, Covington County Hospital Project Manager, Director of Food & Nutrition Services, and Director of Environmental Services, has earned the designation of Certified Dietary Manager (CDM). He passed the nationally recognized CDM Credentialing Exam given in Jackson by completing training that included 120 hours of classroom instruction, supported by 13 years of hands-on practice in nutrition and food service management.
A Certified Dietary Manager has achieved defined competencies not only in nutrition and food service but also in personnel and communications, sanitation and safety, and business operations.
McDonald is grateful to his study partner who worked with him until he had a clear understanding of the material.“This was a hard test, but I have put so many years into studying this, and I am so proud to have achieved this designation,” said McDonald. “I’m proud to serve the patients and staff of Covington County Hospital and Magee General Hospital.”
