Alyssa Mozingo, LMSW, is a social worker serving Covington Place Therapy & Counseling. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2023, following her Bachelor of Social Work from USM in 2022.

Before transitioning to the outpatient setting, Alyssa worked as an intake counselor at Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services, where she gained extensive experience with a wide range of mental health conditions, including Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Schizophrenia. She has worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

Originally from Sumrall, Alyssa now lives in Hattiesburg with her husband and their two beloved cats. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crocheting, and playing board games.
