Scott Arcement, LCSW, serves as the Program Director and Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the CCH Senior Care Unit for inpatient geriatric psychiatric senior mental healthcare. He oversees the program’s day-to-day operations, conducts group and individual therapy with the patients, conducts treatment team meetings scheduled with patients and their families, and documents treatment and discharge planning, often involving the placement of a patient in a nursing home or assisted living center.
Originally from Metairie, LA, and Pass Christian, he graduated from St. Stanislaus High School in 1991 and moved to Hattiesburg to attend USM, where he currently resides. He and his wife have two children. He enjoys hunting and fishing.

- Received 60-hour training sponsored by Smith College School for Social Work on “A Collaborative Approach for Treatment with Sexually Aggressive Youth and Their Families.”
