Thomas R. Blackledge, Jr., MD, is a family medicine physician with the Medical Center of Magee, a clinic of Covington County Hospital. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson. He completed an internship and a residency in family medicine from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
Dr. Blackledge began his career as a family physician with Indianola Family Medical Clinic in 1997. In 2005, he began a solo practice as the founder and owner of the Medical Center of Magee. The clinic was purchased in 2018 by Covington County Hospital, retaining Dr. Blackledge as physician.
Dr. Blackledge is a member and serves on the board of directors for the American Academy of Family Practice and the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a member of the Mississippi State Medical Association.
