Collins, MS, August 31, 2023 – Family Care Express-Collins, a Rural Health Clinic serving Covington, Jefferson Davis, and Simpson counties with primary and urgent care needs, has been recognized as one of the top rural primary care practices in the United States according to the 2023 Lilypad Awards, the first and only ranking program for our nation’s 5,000+ Rural Health Clinics. The Lilypad Awards recognize the Rural Health Clinics that outperform their rural primary care practice peers in terms of efficiency and operational excellence.
Santana Fulcher, the CCH Clinic Director, couldn’t contain her gratitude for the exceptional work of the staff at all Covington County Hospital clinics in providing top-notch healthcare for the community. It’s truly a moment of great pride that our very own Family Care Express has been recognized for this prestigious award two years in a row! The staff at Family Care Express is always ready to serve you, seven days a week, whether it’s a walk-in or appointment. Don’t miss out on the exceptional care they provide!
Utilizing data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid program to calculate rural-relevant metrics across five domains, the Lilypad Awards provide a comprehensive and objective assessment of rural health clinic performance. The Lilypad Awards evaluate provider-based (hospital-owned) and independent practices to produce a comprehensive ranking system for every Rural Health Clinic in the nation. The Top Five organizations in each of the five geographic regions have earned the 2023 Lilypad Award Top Clinic recognition.
