Jones College’s Emergency Technology Program recognized Covington County Hospital Ambulance Services as Clinical Site of the Year at the program graduation ceremony on Thursday, August 10, 2023.
Covington County Hospital Ambulance Services hosts many of the Jones College EMT and Paramedic students while completing the required clinical hours for training. Several of the paramedics in the ambulance services have been trained as preceptors, which enables those medics to function as clinical instructors for Jones College.
“This is a great honor from a valued partner,” said Todd Jones “It is important to have a strong relationship with our local colleges in order to ensure a sufficient workforce pipeline.” Todd Jones accepted the award on behalf of Covington County Hospital Ambulance Services.
